Early Alert & Intervention
Early Alert and Intervention is designed to help identify students who may be experiencing difficulty in their course early in the semester. Research shows that students who experience difficulty within the first 3 to 4 weeks of the semester are at risk and can benefit from early intervention. Faculty members can submit Early Alert notifications during the first four weeks of the semester or session to the FYE office. |
Students who receive an early alert will be contacted by the FYE Office about their course progress. Recommendations include:
The last option for students is to withdraw from the course and re-enroll in a different semester. |
