Hi, my name is David Ross and I am the Director of the First-Year Experience Program and the First-Year Advisor to students whose names begin with the letters M-Z. I am a NJ native and have been working in higher education for over 13 years. I graduated from Montclair State University with a Bachelor's degree in Latin (yes, Latin!) and Master's Degree in Counseling & Higher Education. I am currenlty completing my Ph.D. at Walden University in Psychology. The first-year of college is an exciting time. You will be exposed to so many new concepts and people. The habits you establish during your first semester will be those that help you succeed in your first year and beyond. My goal is to help you achieve your academic and career goals so that you continue on a path to success! If you ever have questions just stop by my office and I will be happy to help! I also teach "The College Experience" course which helps students adjust to the college environment through learning time management, college study skills and excellent critical thinking habits. I'm an avid Eagles, Phillies and Flyers fan, and enjoy spending time with my family including four kids. | |||
