Career Fairs
Throughout the year RVCC, as well as numerous other colleges and institutions nationwide sponsor career fairs.  These fairs are an excellent opportunity for networking as well as obtaining internships, summer employment and full and part-time positions.  Please check back frequently for an updated list of career fairs.

 

 


  Virtual Internship Fair
December 1, 2008 -April 15, 2009

The purpose of this Fair is to introduce students to local employers who are eager to hire our students.

Who should attend this Fair? Any currently registered RVCC student who is interested in working in his/her career field or finding out more information about future work in his/her career field.

Please note: All registered RV students may participate in the Internship  Fair. To continue your internship search once the Fair is over, you must meet the criteria and follow the procedures established by Career Services [check these out on the Career Services website under Internships].

Job fair

When: November 20th, 2008,
               11:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m.

Where: 27 Warren Street, Somerville

(Conference Room #1 on 1st floor).

This building is at the corner of Warren Street and Veterans Memorial Parkway.

 RideWise, the nonprofit transportation management association for Somerset County and the Somerville One-Stop Center cordially invite you to participate in a job fair. This fair is an opportunity to bring together employers located along transit routes with job seekers from Somerset County.

Employers:  If you your company is located along the local bus route it makes it extremely attractive for job seekers, who are interested in finding a job that offers affordable and reliable transportation. If you are interested in participating, but you cannot send a company representative, we can represent you at the fair. RideWise staff will set up the table for your company and display all materials you provide (application forms, job description etc).

Job Seekers: Are you looking for a job, but do not have a driver’s license or access to a car? Then this job fair is for you.  As a job seeker, you will meet prospective employers located near the SCOOT, DASH or WHEELS 884 local bus who are hiring. Plus, if you are hired by one of the participating employers, RideWise will provide you with free bus tickets for your first month of employment.

2008-2009 Nets
Career Fair

It's about Career Day- Saturday, November 22nd at the IZOD Center 2-4:30pm. You are invited to meet with local sports teams, sports marketing firms, apparel companies, sponsors of the Nets and local colleges and universities.

Ticket Information Click the game date below to get your tickets to see the Nets take on the following teams:
  • Your Career Fair ticket is good for both the Career Fair and the Nets vs. LA Clippers game on 11/22/08 (game is at 7:30pm).
  • Career Fair and lower level Nets ticket: $40
  • Career Fair and upper level Nets ticket: $20
  • Please use the Special Offer Code: nets, in order to access the special ticket offer. You will then be prompted to set up an account.
  • All tickets must be purchased with a valid credit card.

  • Tickets will be emailed to the account holder directly.
