Educational
Philosophy
“Students should be taught from where they are, not from where we think
they should be. This charges professors and teachers to view the
student with unique strengths and needs. Students should be guided into practice
of the new material, allowed to be thinkers and apply the new material, and then
they should be authentically assessed on their growth in mastering or acquiring
the new material. This is allowing the students to be experiential in their
learning and to be constructivists in their knowledge acquisition.” |
