Summer Open House Slated in May

Members of the community are invited to attend Raritan Valley Community College’s Summer Open House, Thursday, May 30, from 6-8 p.m. The event, designed for high school students and adults who are interested in pursuing a college degree or certificate, will be held in the Conference Center at RVCC’s Branchburg campus.

During the event, participants are invited to tour the campus and meet faculty and current students. Attendees will have an opportunity to learn about:

• how to become an RVCC student
• student clubs, organizations and athletic teams
• services to help traditional-age students and adults make a successful transition to college
• degree programs designed to transfer to top colleges and universities in New Jersey, across the country, and even in Europe
• career training programs, designed in partnership with local industry, that can be completed in a year or less
• RVCC’s Honors College
• Early college programs for high school juniors and seniors
• financial aid opportunities and tuition payment plans

RVCC offers three Summer Sessions: a six-week session beginning May 20; a nine-week session beginning June 10; and a six-week session beginning July 8. The Fall Semester begins August 28.
