Workforce Training Center Career Expo, Showcase Slated

Raritan Valley Community College’s Workforce Training Center will present a Career Expo and Showcase, Thursday, April 4, from 4-6 p.m. The event, which is designed to bring together local employers, job seekers and students, is free of charge and open to the public. It will be held in the Workforce Training Center (WTC) at RVCC’s Branchburg campus.

During the event, participants will be able to speak with employers; tour the WTC’s facilities; and learn about the Center’s Workforce degree and certificate offerings, customized training programs and other resources. The event also will provide an overview of RVCC programs in such areas as Cosmetology, Esthetics, Advanced Manufacturing, Automotive Technology, Environmental Control Technology and Welding, as well as professional development courses.

The collaborative event is being offered in partnership with the NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development; Greater Raritan One Stop Career Center; Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce & Economic Development; goHunterdon: Promoting Sustainable Transportation; and the RideWise transportation management association.
