The Institute of Holocaust & Genocide Studies strives to educate RVCC students and the larger community about people’s capacity for inhumanity and injustice and their equal ability for compassion and resiliency. Antisemitism, one of the many issues to be confronted, is strikingly prevalent and problematic in the U.S. and around the world.
In an effort to bring understanding and clarity to this problem, we are working to educate the community about the terminology and the corresponding actions that constitute antisemitic acts. The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance has a working definition of antisemitism, which has been adopted internationally in order to raise awareness and combat this issue.
