The Honors College opens up exciting opportunities for you inside the classroom, in the community and in preparing for the future. You’ll be part of a community of scholars who share your curiosity and love of learning. Our dedicated faculty will inspire you and the seminar-style courses will engage you. The Honors College is a stepping stone to greater educational opportunities and success in life.

  • Classes limited to 25 students per section

  • Substantially reduces the cost of a college degree

Honors College by the Numbers

  • Approximately 75 students admitted each year
  • Roughly 20 different high schools represented each year
  • 90% retention rate (from freshman to sophomore year)
  • 80% graduate within two years
  • 90% have successfully transferred to pursue bachelor’s degrees
  • Admitted students average over a 3.50 GPA (or 90%) GPA
  • Admitted students average between 1150-1200 on the SAT
