RVCC SETS SUMMER YOUTH COMPUTER, GRAPHIC DESIGN CLASSES

The Corporate & Continuing Education (CCE) division at Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) in North Branch will offer a variety of computer and graphic design classes this summer for children ages 8-15. The following courses will be offered:

Computer Camp I: Students ages 8-10 create interesting computer projects using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The class will be held Monday through Friday, August 4-8, from 9 a.m.-noon. The fee is $167.

MicroWorlds?Digital Construction for Kids I: Students ages 10-15 work with a software package that?s geared for the creative student interested in learning about computers and how they work. The class will be held Monday through Friday, July 7-11, from 9 a.m.-noon. The fee is $167.

MicroWorlds?Digital Construction for Kids II: Students ages 10-15 create a digital multimedia presentation using the MicroWorlds programming language. The class will be held Monday through Friday, July 14-18, from 9 a.m.-noon. Participants should already have taken MicroWorlds?Digital Construction for Kids I or have been given consent from the instructor. The fee is $167.

Print & Photo Artist: Students ages 10-12 create a variety of projects associated with graphic design and visual imagery. The class will be held Monday through Wednesday, June 30-July 2, from 9 a.m.-noon. The fee is $106.
