RVCC SLATES SEMINAR ON CAREERS IN EDUCATION
Raritan Valley Community College?s (RVCC) Career Services Department will sponsor a Careers in Education Seminar on Tuesday, October 28, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., in The Conference Center at the College?s North Branch Campus. The program is free of charge and open to the public.
Participants will learn about a variety of careers in education, from pre-kindergarten through high school. Students will be able to interact with professionals in roundtable sessions. Featured topics are scheduled to include:
* Day care ownership and administration
* Teaching in an elementary school, middle school or high school
* Special education
* Transfer process to four-year schools
RVCC offers Associate of Arts, Associate of Applied Arts and Certificate programs in Early Childhood education, as well as an Associate of Arts in Teaching degree.
