In an effort to balance keeping the cost of a college education relatively low, while still providing the critical educational and support services that are vital to student success, the Raritan Valley Community College Board of Trustees has approved a $6 per credit increase in tuition.

The new tuition of $186 per credit would take effect for the Fall 2024 Semester. For the average full-time student taking 30 credits during the academic year, tuition would increase by $180 for the year. For the average part-time student taking 12 credits during the academic year, tuition would increase by $72.

“RVCC must remain the community’s best and first-choice option for an outstanding, affordable education. We have tried to keep tuition at a level that is within reach for our students, while still providing them with all of the essential support and services they need to accomplish their academic goals,” said RVCC President Michael J. McDonough.

The College’s FY 2025 budget will be voted on at the April 30 Board of Trustees meeting.
