The Testing Center

THE TESTING CENTER IS NOW OPEN IN ITS NEW LOCATION

ROOM L-029 (NEAR THE THEATRE)

 

The mission of the Testing Center is to provide an appropriate environment for testing and the maintenance of student test and placement records employing the highest standards in test delivery, security, confidentiality and the integrity of test instruments; to assess the academic skills of enrolling students to provide information for appropriate placement and advising thus enhancing student opportunities to achieve academic success; to interpret and explain placements to students; to administer out-of-class testing for faculty including testing for students requiring special accomodations, online course testing and computer based testing; and to provide certified proctoring services to the community.

TESTING CENTER HOURS FOR WEEK OF NOVEMBER 23

Monday - 8:30 am  to 8 pm

Tuesday - 8:30 am to 8 pm

Wednesday - 8:30 am to 5 p.m.

CLOSED - THURSDAY AND FRIDAY

 

 Monday - Thursday  8:30 am - 8:00 pm
 Friday  9:00 am - 4:30 pm
 Saturday  9:00 am - 1:00 pm
 Sunday  closed

 

While in the Testing Center:

  • All cell phones must be completely turned off
  • Food and beverages are not permitted
  • No test will be administered without a photo ID

We provide the following services:

 

  • Each student MUST show photo identification before taking an exam. 
  • To be eligible to take placement tests, students must first apply for admission to RVCC through the web or in person in Admissions or Enrollment Services. 
  • Each section of the Accuplacer placement test may be taken up to 3 times.  There is a $10.00 retest fee for each section.
  • Appointments are required for GED, Distance Learning Proctored Exams, CLEP and DANTES. 
  • All other exams are provided on a walk-in basis.
