Whether you want to explore an interest, meet friends, strengthen your resume, plan events, serve the community, or help shape student life, there are many ways to take part.

Get Involved at RVCC

RVCC offers a wide range of student clubs and organizations connected to academics, culture, identity, service, creativity, leadership, recreation, and special interests.

Some students join clubs related to their major or career goals. Others get involved because they want to explore a hobby, support a cause, connect with classmates, or simply have fun between classes.

Clubs and organizations are led by students, for students. If you do not see a club that matches your interests, Student Life can help you learn how to start one.

Academic Clubs

Academic clubs give students a chance to connect with others who share similar academic and career interests.

 

Through academic clubs, students can learn more about their field of study, meet classmates, connect with faculty or advisors, attend special events, explore career pathways, and build leadership skills outside the classroom.

 

These groups are a great way to make your major feel more connected to your goals and your college experience.

Special Interest Clubs

Special interest clubs help students explore what they enjoy, who they are, and what they care about.  We offer clubs connected to the arts, culture, media, service, games, wellness, advocacy, community, and other shared interests. These clubs give students space to express themselves, meet new people, and bring energy to campus life.

 

Because clubs change based on student interest and leadership, students should check with Student Life for the most current list of active clubs and organizations.

Honor Societies

RVCC honor societies recognize academic excellence, leadership, and achievement.

Eligible students may have opportunities to join honor societies connected to academic success, leadership development, or specific fields of study. Honor societies can help students celebrate their accomplishments, connect with other motivated students, and build experiences that support transfer, career, and personal goals.

Events & Campus Activities

There is always something happening at RVCC.

Students can take part in campus events, performances, lectures, exhibits, leadership programs, student activities, charitable events, cultural programs, and special gatherings throughout the year.

These experiences are a great way to meet people, explore new ideas, take a break from studying, and feel more connected to campus.

Activities Board

The Activities Board helps plan programs and events that bring students together.

Students involved with the Activities Board can help create meaningful, social, cultural, educational, and fun activities for the RVCC community. From campus celebrations to student-centered programs, the Activities Board gives students a chance to turn ideas into experiences.
