Veterans & Military-Connected Students

Your service has given you skills, discipline, and experience that matter. At RVCC, we help veterans, active-duty service members, National Guard members, reservists, and military-connected families take the next step toward a degree, career, or transfer goal.

Whether you are starting college for the first time, returning to school, changing careers, or preparing to transfer, RVCC offers affordable tuition, personalized support, and guidance to help you make the most of your education benefits.

From Service to Success

Your service has already given you skills that set you apart. RVCC is where you can put them to work.

We are proud to support veterans and military-connected students as they transition to college life, explore academic and career options, and work toward their goals. Our team can help you understand your benefits, plan your courses, review eligible military credit, and connect with the support services available to you.

Your Military Training May Count Toward College Credit

The work you did in uniform has real academic value, and RVCC recognizes it.

We evaluate military transcripts, including Joint Services Transcript (JST) and Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) records, for college credit that may be applied toward your degree. That can mean less time repeating what you already know and more time moving forward toward your goals.

Making the Most of Your Education Benefits

You’ve earned your education benefits, and we want to help you use them.

RVCC’s VA-certifying official works with students using GI Bill benefits, Tuition Assistance, and other eligible military or veteran education benefits. We can assist with enrollment certification, recertification, benefit changes, course withdrawals, and program updates.

Students are responsible for submitting required documentation and notifying Veteran Services of any schedule, enrollment, benefit, or program changes. Keeping us informed helps ensure your certification remains accurate and your benefits stay on track.

Paying for College Shouldn’t Be Stressful

Between VA education benefits, Tuition Assistance, military transfer credits, financial aid options, and RVCC’s affordable tuition, college may be more within reach than you think.

Our team can help you understand your options and take the next step with confidence
