The Middle States Commission on Higher Education is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Raritan Valley Community College is accredited to offer Associate Degrees and Certificates through instruction at the main campus and other locations (see table below) as well as via distance education.
