At Raritan Valley Community College

Institutional Engagement Awards

RVCC’s Institutional Engagement Awards honors a student, staff, and faculty member who go above and beyond to bring RVCC values to life. These awards celebrate leadership, dedication, and service in creating a welcoming, inclusive community—with care, meaning, and purpose that truly makes a difference.

Reflection Room

The Reflection Room is a meaningful space on campus that fosters belonging and nurtures an ethic of care for the community. It provides a quiet, welcoming environment for reflection, connection, and personal growth.

Employee Affinity Groups

Employee Affinity Groups (EAGs) are employee-led groups centered on shared interests, backgrounds, identities, and experiences. Their goal is to promote diversity, understanding, openness, and inclusion. All EAGs welcome participation from every employee.

The Mosaic

  • This Mosaic strives to provide resources as well as fellowship for those who identify ethnically or culturally as a POC. This includes but is not limited to, Asian/Pacific Islander/Middle Eastern, Latino/a/x/e, African American/Black, Native American, International, multiracial and all allies.

The Pride

  • The PRIDE Employee Affinity Group (Pride EAG) is a supportive and welcoming space for employees who identify as LGBTQIA+ and allies. The group provides a platform for members to connect, share experiences, and foster a sense of community.

Sister 2 Sister

Sister 2 Sister, (S2S) is an Employee Affinity Group (EAG) that is a supportive and welcoming space for all employees; staff, faculty, and administrators who identify as Women of Color or BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) Women, and all of our allies.
