Designed as a follow-up to Getting Started with Instructional Design, this course provides hands-on experience creating multimedia learning experiences for workplace, educational, and training environments.

Participants apply instructional design principles while working with tools and technologies commonly used to develop engaging digital learning content.

Topics include:

  • Multimedia learning design
  • Web-based learning content
  • Video creation and integration
  • Screen capture and demonstration tools
  • Graphic design for learning materials
  • Accessibility and inclusive design practices
  • Learner engagement and learner control
  • Responsible AI use in course development
  • Content organization and learning flow
  • Portfolio development and project presentation

Throughout the course, participants build a cumulative project that demonstrates their skills and can be used in a professional portfolio, workplace training initiative, or instructional setting.

This course is ideal for educators, trainers, instructional designers, HR professionals, and learning and development specialists looking to strengthen their course design and content creation capabilities.
