The exhibition, “Missing Pictures” will showcase recent work by RVCC Arts & Design full-time faculty member Ji Yong Kim created during his Fall 2025-Spring 2026 sabbatical. The paintings on display all originate from a single photograph – one taken of the artist by his mother at age ten. Through these works, the exhibition unravels the infinite complexities embedded within a single image: the gesture of displaying a finished artwork, the tension between what is painted and what remains hidden, and the delicate line between authentic memory and constructed narrative.
