Raritan Valley Community College’s Arts and Design department will present a student theatre production of Qui Nguyen’s She Kills Monsters: Young Adventurers Edition, March 29-April 1, at 7 p.m. The production, which is free of charge and open to the public, will be staged in RVCC’s Welpe Theatre at the College’s Branchburg campus. Directed by Dennis Russo, the play tells the story of high schooler Agnes Evans as she deals with the death of her younger sister, Tilly.
When Agnes stumbles upon Tilly’s Dungeons & Dragons notebook, she finds herself catapulted into a journey of discovery and action-packed adventure in the imaginary world that was her sister’s refuge. Set and lighting design is by David Porter and Kenny Savoy. Sound design is by Matthew Sheehan.
