Business & Public Service
Students in Business and Public Service programs — whether Criminal Justice, Business, Paralegal Studies, or HVAC — develop practical expertise, problem‑solving abilities, and strong professional habits employers value. Through hands‑on learning, industry‑aligned coursework, and supportive faculty, students build career-ready competencies, understand how their work impacts society, and graduate prepared to step into essential roles that make a meaningful difference.
The Business and Public Service Department offers students a powerful combination of practical training, industry knowledge, and hands‑on experience that leads directly to strong career opportunities. Across programs in Criminal Justice, Business, Paralegal Studies, and HVAC, students learn from experienced faculty who bring real‑world insights into the classroom and ensure coursework mirrors current workplace expectations. Students practice critical thinking, communication, technology use, and problem‑solving—skills that transfer across every professional environment.
Each program provides access to industry‑aligned tools, simulations, labs, and case‑based learning, giving students the chance to apply what they learn in realistic scenarios. Criminal Justice students engage in scenario‑based practice and justice‑system exploration; Business students build skills in management, marketing, finance, and entrepreneurship; Paralegal students gain experience with legal research, document preparation, and case organization; HVAC students work directly with modern heating and cooling systems to master technical competencies.
Graduates leave with career-ready confidence, professional habits, and a clear understanding of how their work impacts organizations and communities. Whether entering the workforce or continuing their education, students walk away with a strong foundation, valuable experience, and the skills employers consistently seek—making this department a gateway to meaningful, reliable, and opportunity-rich careers.
