The Wind in the Willows to be Performed

Raritan Valley Community College’s Arts & Design department will present The Wind in the Willows by Ken Grahame, April 9-11, at 7 p.m. The production, which is free of charge and open to the public, will be staged in the Welpe Theatre at the College’s Branchburg campus.Under the direction of RVCC and Kean University faculty member Lisa Deo, The Wind in the Willows details the story of Mole, Ratty, and Badger as they try to help Mr. Toad after he becomes obsessed with motorcars.

The play celebrates understanding the importance of friendship, finding joy in simple things, and valuing home and nature over fleeting adventures and material possessions.Deo, whose background is in devised theatre, will be utilizing that style with this production. Devised performance focuses on cast collaboration and physical action to help tell the story.
