Raritan Valley Community College’s Student Nurses’ Association (SNA) wrapped up the fall semester by delivering Holiday Wish gifts to 10 teenagers at Agape House. The SNA also sponsored cookie and ornament decorating activities, as well as a holiday coloring activity, with younger residents of Agape House.

Based in Somerset County, Agape House offers emergency housing and case management services to single adults and families with children.

SNA service projects during the fall semester also included promoting two on-campus Blood Drives and monitoring blood donors during the event; providing blood pressure checks and stroke education at the College’s Employee Benefits Fair; sponsoring a Nursing Jacket Fundraiser to benefit Hurricane Melissa Relief in Jamaica; and publicizing an ongoing Food Drive for the RVCC Resource Center and Food Pantry.
