Build Skills Employers Need

Gain the knowledge and practical skills needed to work in retail pharmacies, hospitals, long-term care facilities, and other healthcare settings. Learn pharmacy operations, medication safety, insurance processing, inventory management, and customer service while preparing for national certification.

Pharmacy technicians work under licensed pharmacists to support the safe and effective delivery of prescription medications. As demand for healthcare services continues to grow, trained pharmacy technicians are increasingly sought after in pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare environments.

This 144-hour program prepares students for entry-level employment and the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE), offered by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). Many employers require PTCB certification for advancement into leadership, specialist, and management positions.
