Planetarium Show for Children with Autism, Developmental Disabilities Set at RVCC

The Raritan Valley Community College Planetarium in Branchburg will present “The Sky Above,” Saturdays, October 8 and November 5. Both shows will begin at 5 p.m. and last for approximately 45 minutes. The astronomy and music show is specially designed for families with children on the Autism spectrum or those with developmental disabilities.

Local Philanthropists Donate $500,000 to RVCC Foundation for STEM Programs

The Raritan Valley Community College Foundation has received a $500,000 donation from Jim and Jill Gibson of Basking Ridge in support of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) educational programs at the College.

RVCC to Present Solo Exhibition of Paintings by Faculty Member

Raritan Valley Community College’s Visual and Performing Arts Department will present Topography, a solo exhibition of paintings by RVCC faculty member Wes Sherman, October 3-21. The exhibition will be on display in the Art Gallery at the College’s Branchburg Campus.

NJSBDC Regional Director to Receive State Star Award

William Harnden of Clinton, Regional Director of the New Jersey Small Business Development Center (NJSBDC) at Raritan Valley Community College, has been selected to receive the NJSBDC State Star Award for 2016.
