Student Receives Nonprofit Civic Engagement Award

Sandra Faragalla of Neshanic Station has been named the recipient of the Raritan Valley Community College Nonprofit Civic Engagement Award for the 2022-2023 academic year.  

Planetarium’s May Schedule Includes Laser Show Featuring Music by Taylor Swift, Kids Programs, Star Shows

The Raritan Valley Community College Planetarium has a terrific lineup in May, including special programs for kids, a laser concert featuring music by Taylor Swift, and a star show focusing on where Earth is situated in the Universe.  

Liberal Arts Student Named National Fellow by Civic Engagement Organization

Sydney Lehrer of Flemington, a second-year Liberal Arts student at Raritan Valley Community College, has been selected as a Newman Civic Fellow by Campus Compact for the 2023-2024 academic year.  

RVCC Sets New Giving Day Fundraising Record

Inspired by the return of a $50,000 “Match Challenge,” Raritan Valley Community College had a record-setting “Giving Day” on March 23 and raised $163,830 for student clubs and athletic teams, as well as a range of centers, institutes and critical institutional programs.

Raritan Valley Community College’s Arts & Design department will present a faculty concert with Dr. Will Berman (baritone) and Dr. Anna Keiserman (piano), and featuring guest soprano Lauren Frey, Saturday, April 29, at 2 p.m.  

Student, Faculty Dance Performances to be Presented

Raritan Valley Community College’s Arts & Design department will present DanceWorks, an evening of student and faculty dance performances, April 27 and 28, at 7 p.m.  

RVCC Chorale to Present Spring Concert

The RVCC Chorale will present its spring concert, “Seas of Love,” on Sunday, April 30, at 3 p.m.  

Information Session Slated in April for RVCC Adult Learners’ College

Members of the community interested in learning more about Raritan Valley Community College’s new Adult Learners’ College are invited to attend a special Information Session on Tuesday, April 25, at United Way of Hunterdon County’s Volunteer Center, located at 20 Fulper Road, Flemington.
