Our programs are shaped with industry partners to reflect:
- Real equipment
- Real processes
- Real expectations
The result is training that shows up on the job — not just on paper.
RVCC delivers nationally recognized excellence. Workforce training shaped around your business goals and talent you need; connecting students and employers through opportunity and innovation.
Workforce
Hiring is harder. Skills gaps are wider. Timelines are tighter. And generic training doesn’t solve real operational problems.
At the Workforce Training Center, we start with your reality — not a catalog of courses — and build solutions that help your people perform, advance, and stay.
We don’t train for credentials alone. We train for competence, confidence, and productivity.
Built with industry

Built on partnership
We don’t believe in transactional training. We believe in long-term partnerships. That means:

What is Cooperative Education?
Commonly called a “co-op,” it provides academic credit for a structured, supervised job experience. Students work part-time, earning credit alongside on-the-job training directly related to their major and career interest. Students register and pay for a co-op.
What is an Internship?
A career-related work experience in which a student takes on a meaningful, challenging role outside the classroom. Internships benefit both employer and student and must include a mentoring component. They’re more flexible than co-ops — start and end dates are set by the employer and student, not the academic calendar.
