RVCC’s Automotive Technology Program

With today’s self-driving cars, electrics, hybrids, and other innovations, it’s safe to say the field of automotive technology is in overdrive. It’s no wonder U.S. News & World Report ranked automotive technicians as one of the “100 Best Jobs in America.”

RVCC’s automotive technician training program is designed to fully prepare students for a job in this in-demand field. Students can choose from two tracks: A one-year Certificate Track (35-36 credits) or a two-year AAS Degree Track (60 credits).

The program offers job placement—including the opportunity to become a certified technician with Chrysler, Subaru, Toyota, and Ford.

RVCC’s Beauty Professions Programs

Whether you’re interested in cosmetologyesthetics, or makeup artistry, working in the beauty industry is a solid decision. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the job market for barbers, hairstylists, and cosmetologists is projected to grow 19 percent by 2030. Esthetician positions are projected to grow 17 percent by 2029.

RVCC offers hands-on training programs and job placement services to help students get started in the beauty industry right away. We even have our own fully equipped on-campus salon!

Why Attend an Information Session?

|There is so much information out there about how to become a skilled worker or obtain a professional certification in various fields. And sometimes looking up schools for different careers can be overwhelming!

Students often spend hours online researching phrases like: “cosmetology school,” machinist schools” or “esthetician school near me.” Often the best way to learn about a program is to attend a live information session where you can get answers to all of your questions.

Beyond automotive technician training and beauty training, RVCC offers a CNC training program, an HVAC technician training program, a Commercial Energy Management training program, and more. View RVCC’s complete list of career training programs here and see our complete list of information sessions here.
