Board of Trustees Names New Member

Raritan Valley Community College’s (RVCC) Board of Trustees welcomed new member Andrew J. McNally of Basking Ridge at its meeting held Tuesday, January 23. McNally was appointed to the position by the Somerset County Board of Chosen Freeholders.

“We welcome Andrew J. McNally to the RVCC Board of Trustees. His extensive background in government affairs, environmental issues, and utilities will make him a valuable addition to the Board,” said RVCC President Michael J. McDonough.

McNally is an attorney who most recently served as Senior Deputy Chief Counsel to Governor Chris Christie, where he provided legal, legislative, and policy advice to the Governor on a full range of matters impacting the state, with a focus on energy and environmental issues. He previously served as Chief Counsel to the Board of Public Utilities, the state agency that regulates utilities and manages state energy policy. Prior to joining state government, McNally was a litigator at the law firm of Patton Boggs LLP in Newark, where he concentrated his practice on environmental, mass tort, and commercial matters. He is a graduate of Seton Hall Law School and Boston College.

Raritan Valley Community College’s main campus is located at 118 Lamington Road in Branchburg, NJ.
