Earth Strike Community Event Scheduled

The public is invited to join the Raritan Valley Community College community in an Earth Strike event, Thursday, September 26, from noon-2 p.m. The program will be held in the RVCC courtyard at the College’s Branchburg campus.

The Earth Strike event will feature speakers representing the Citizens’ Climate Lobby, the Sierra Club, and Earth Strike NYC. Presenters will address a range of topics including the Energy Innovation Act (HR763), climate change’s impact on New Jersey, and how people can get involved in the movement for climate justice.

Earth Strike is an international grassroots movement demanding immediate climate action from governments and corporations worldwide. The New York City chapter will hold its climate strike on Friday, September 27, in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, NY. For additional information, visit http://earthstrikenyc.net/
