Esthetics Student Receives Scholarship
Fatima Akbar Rizvi of Bridgewater, a fulltime student in Raritan Valley Community College’s Esthetics (skincare) program, has received the Fall 2025 “Hydrafacial Glow Getter Scholarship.”
The $5,000 scholarship, administered by Beauty Changes Lives, is designed to empower women who want to establish a career in esthetics. It offers financial support for those in an Esthetics program that leads to licensure or certification, or for currently licensed professionals interested in elevating their skills.
Rizvi, who has been a bridal professional makeup artist for approximately nine years, hopes to work as a medical esthetician for a dermatologist. Her future goal, she says, is to have her own medical spa business.
