New Reward Program Encourages Students to Save Money, Accelerate Path Toward Graduation
Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg is launching a new program to reward students who accelerate their path toward graduation by carrying a full-time load of classes. As part of a new Reward Program beginning this fall, students who earn at least 24 college credits at RVCC during the Fall, Winter and Spring Semester can save $500 toward a summer course.
To be eligible for the program, students must enroll in and pass at least 24 college credits at RVCC with a C grade or better during the Fall 2019, Winter 2019, or Spring 2019 Semesters. They also must register for at least 6 college credits during the summer of 2020, and pay all applicable fees.
“The Reward Program is designed to encourage students to graduate within two years by providing a financial incentive,” said Michael J. McDonough, RVCC President. “Data shows that college students who complete at least 12 credits per semester are more likely to graduate on time, perform better academically, and save money on their college degree.”
Students interested in participating in the Reward Program must submit a Reward Program Application Form to RVCC’s Enrollment Services office. Fall Semester classes begin August 28.
