Members of the community are invited to attend Raritan Valley Community College’s Fall Open House, Saturday, October 21, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. The event, designed for recent high school graduates and adults who are interested in pursuing a college degree or certificate, will be held in the Conference Center at the College’s Branchburg campus.

Those who attend will have the opportunity to hear about the College firsthand from current students and alumni; tour the campus; learn about support services for adults who are returning to the classroom; and meet with members of the RVCC faculty. Participants also may learn about degree programs that are designed to help students transfer to top colleges and universities, as well as training programs that prepare students for a new career in a year or less.

The event will include workshops focusing on such topics as how to become an RVCC student and paying for College.

Students attending the Open House may learn more about the College’s Workforce programs at information sessions for the Cosmetology & Esthetics (skincare) programs, Advanced Manufacturing, and Automotive Technology, all from 10-11:30 a.m. in RVCC’s new Workforce Training Center.
