RVCC to Hold General, Adult Information Sessions in May

Learn about all Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) has to offer by attending an Information Session in May at the College’s Branchburg campus. General Information Sessions and campus tours are scheduled for Friday, May 4, 10-11 a.m. (Atrium Lounge, College Center, Lower Level) and Thursday, May 17, 4-6 p.m. (Conference Center, Room 102).

During the sessions, RVCC Admissions specialists will provide information about:

•    Enrolling in classes next fall or this summer (a six-week session begins May 21; a nine-week session begins June 11; and a six-week session begins July 9)

•    Programs designed to help students transfer to top colleges and universities in New Jersey, across the country, and even in Europe

•    Career training programs, designed in partnership with local industry, that can be completed in a year or less

•    The admissions process

•    Paying for college, including financial aid opportunities

A special Adult Information Session for non-traditional age students who are considering returning to college or have never attended college will be held Saturday, May 5, from 9-10 a.m., in the RVCC Conference Center, Room 101. Aside from general admissions information, the session will focus on transferring college credits, earning credits for life experience, and making a successful transition back to school after being away from the classroom for years.
