Students and educators from eight New Jersey colleges and universities offering Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) and Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) programs recently gathered for a day of professional education at Raritan Valley Community College.
The October 2 event, the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS-NJ) Fall Seminar, hosted by RVCC, featured engaging guest speakers who shared valuable insights on such topics as time management, professional growth, and the importance of networking and active involvement in the laboratory profession.
In addition to the educational sessions, the seminar provided opportunities for students and educators from different programs to connect, exchange ideas, and strengthen professional relationships.
The event concluded with the election of the 2026–2027 ASCLS-NJ Student Representative, giving students an opportunity to represent their peers and become more actively involved in their professional organization.
