Raritan Valley Community College’s Institute of Holocaust and Genocide Studies will present Enduring Tension: (En)Countering Antisemitism in Every Age, on display from September 9-December 3. The new exhibition will be showcased in the Morris and Dorothy Hirsch Research Library, located on the second floor of the Evelyn S Field Library, at the College’s Branchburg campus.

The exhibit explores the long history of anti-Jewish bias in the United States, putting it into an international context. The exhibition challenges visitors to ask critical questions, including: Must we live with hate? And if we believe that hatred must be combated, what are the best ways to do so?

Using historical panels and images from the founding of our nation to the present day, Enduring Tension demonstrates how antisemitism has influenced people’s thinking over time and what everyday citizens can do to counter this hatred.

Katy S. Matello, Education and Outreach Coordinator at the Museum of History and Holocaust Education at Kennesaw State University, will offer highlights about this new exhibition during a webinar, September 18, at 10 a.m. To register for the webinar, which is free of charge and open to the public, visit https://tinyurl.com/j36rbsaz.

The exhibition and tours are free to the public, but registration is required.
