The Pharmaceutical Aseptic Cleaning program is delivered over two weeks and consists of 30 hours of in-person instruction with a strong emphasis on hands-on learning. Designed for entry-level learners, career changers, and incumbent workers, the program prepares participants for entry-level opportunities in pharmaceutical and biomanufacturing environments.
Through classroom instruction and practical exercises, learners develop a foundational understanding of:
- Cleanroom operations and classifications
- Aseptic cleaning techniques
- Contamination control principles
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Documentation and recordkeeping
- Regulatory compliance expectations
- Workplace safety procedures
Training is conducted at the RVCC Workforce Training Center using both biotechnology laboratory and cleanroom facilities to simulate real-world industry conditions. Participants gain practical experience while developing the attention to detail, precision, and compliance mindset expected by employers in highly regulated industries.
