In AutoCAD 1, students learn the foundational skills needed to create and edit 2D drawings using industry-standard AutoCAD software.

Through hands-on practice, participants develop the skills required to create accurate technical drawings while becoming familiar with the tools and workflows commonly used in drafting and design environments.

Topics include:

  • Basic drafting and drawing tools
  • Creating and editing 2D drawings
  • Drawing setup and workspace organization
  • Layer management
  • Dimensions and measurement tools
  • Annotation techniques
  • File organization and best practices
  • Producing accurate technical drawings

This course is ideal for individuals who are new to design, construction, engineering, manufacturing, or computer-aided drafting and want a solid introduction to AutoCAD.
