First Part of 2026’s Student Art Exhibition Planned

Raritan Valley Community College’s Arts & Design department will present the annual RVCC Student Art Exhibition in two installments again this year. Part I of the exhibition will be on display from March 4-27, in the Art Gallery at the College’s Branchburg campus. Part II of the exhibition will run from April 8-May 6.

Faculty Member Pens Book on Strategic Planning

A book by Fernando H. Ferrer, an Adjunct Professor in Raritan Valley Community College’s Business and Public Service Department, has been published by Archway Publishing. Titled Strategy and Planning Fundamentals: Empowering You, the 348-page book presents a human-centered and practical approach to strategic planning, blending organizational systems with psychological insight to help leaders, professionals, and students transform complexity into purposeful action.

Planetarium’s March Programs Include Laser Rock Shows Featuring Female Artists, Children’s Music

The Raritan Valley Community College Planetarium in Branchburg will be rocking in March with laser shows featuring music by such artists as Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, and Carly Rae Jepsen, as well as tunes for children, including “Baby Shark” and “I Don’t Want to Live on the Moon” from Sesame Street.

Hunterdon Central and RVCC Join Together for Special Dual Enrollment Partnership

RVCC to Hold Event on Future of Opticianry

Raritan Valley Community College’s Ophthalmic Science program will host a public presentation titled “Dream Big, One Year Later: The Future of Opticianry in Action,” Thursday, February 12, at 11:30 a.m. The event, which is free of charge and open to the public, will be held in the Atrium at the College’s Branchburg campus. The Ophthalmic Science program is part of RVCC’s Health Science Education department.

Raritan Valley Community College’s Institute of Holocaust and Genocide Studies will present a new exhibition, Anne Frank, A History for Today, on display from February 9-April 2. The exhibit will be showcased in the Morris and Dorothy Hirsch Research Library, located on the second floor of RVCC’s Evelyn S Field Library.

Somerset County Names Terence L. Byrd to RVCC Board of Trustees

Raritan Valley Community College’s (RVCC) Board of Trustees welcomed new member Terence L. Byrd of Warren at its meeting held on January 20. Mr. Byrd was appointed to the position by the Somerset County Board of County Commissioners.
