Graduated RVCC:

2014 with degrees in Engineering and Mathematics. The son of Mexican immigrants, he was the first member of his family to graduate high school and earn a college degree.

After RVCC:

Transferred to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2017

Currently:

Why I Love RVCC:

The staff and advisors had a big impact on my success. The environment allows students to be recognized while fostering growth.

The RVCC Advantage:

RVCC gave me a competitive edge when transferring to a 4-year school. I felt like I was well prepared and fully able to compete with my peers.

Ultimate Career Goal:

Achieving an executive engineering role, holding multiple patents and starting a non-profit. In the short term, I am working on establishing a scholarship to help students from Bound Brook High School (alma mater) attend RVCC. “I want to make college more of an option for people from my town. RVCC is a place I’ll always value.
