The Resource Center program brings together both primary and secondary resource supports in order to empower student participants. The project is a unique initiative that combines education and relationship building for students who lack available financial, personal and support system resources to succeed in college. Its intent is to build collaboration among a variety of community resources to help alleviate the many barriers that prevent students from achieving their educational goals.

Who Do We Serve?

RVCC Food Pantry is open to students, staff members, and faculty of Raritan Valley Community College. No appointments are necessary to use the food pantry. There is no limit in regards to how long anyone may utilize our services.

Location and Hours of Operation

RVCC Resource Center & Food Pantry is located on the second floor of the College Center in the back of the student lounge/game room. We also have a dedicated outdoor entrance that is accessible from the delivery entrance of the school; across from the softball field.

How Can I help?

Donate snack bags. These consist of healthy snacks that can serve as lunch or provide nourishment for food insecure students throughout the school day. Such things as individually wrapped servings of nuts, raisins, snack bars, trail mix, beef sticks, turkey sticks, tuna with crackers, fruit cups (applesauce, tropical fruit, diced pears), small individual servings of juice, etc. – all found on shelves in the non refrigerated section of your favorite grocery store.

Food & Toiletries. Small donations are accepted at the food pantry during business hours or in the pantry donation box. Please contact the Resource Center- resourcecenterandfoodpantry@raritanval.edu

Donate grocery gift cards and gas cards that will help students with the cost of perishable groceries and enable them to get to school.

Clothing & Shoes. We accept clean clothes and shoes in good condition for men, women, children, and babies.

By check via RVCC Foundation, ATTN: Mike Marion, 118 Lamington Road, Branchburg, NJ 08876 (include reference to Resource Center/Emergency Fund/Food Pantry in cover note or ‘memo line’ on check)
Online click here (when you arrive at this page, scroll down a little and click the GIVE NOW button on the far right. You’ll then arrive at a new page and will provide some base info and then:
- - Click arrow for type of donation* (and click “other” in the drop down window)
  - Please indicate designation for other: add “Resource Center/Emergency Fund/Food Pantry”
  - This gift is made in Honor/Memory of (please select one): choose ‘Honor of’ or ‘Memory of’ in the drop down window
  - Name of Individual to be honored/remembered: add “name of person”
  - Then add the amount, credit card, info etc.
  - Submit
