The Institute of Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Raritan Valley Community College will host a virtual book launch with author Jennifer Rosner, Friday, March 24, from 10-11 a.m.

A National Jewish Book Award Finalist and author of The Yellow Bird Sings, Jennifer Rosner has written a novel based on the true stories of children stolen in the wake of World War II. Rosner will talk about her compelling new book, Once We Were Home, which focuses on this little-known history.

Based on the true accounts of Jewish children stolen during wartime, this heart-wrenching novel raises questions of complicity and responsibility, belonging and identity, good intentions, and unforeseen consequences as it confronts what it really means to find home.

The virtual book launch event is free of charge and open to the public. Registration is required. To register for the program, visit https://raritanval-edu.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_K-FzsJXNRvKd4vNzrHmvYg.

The program is being co-sponsored by The Jewish Federation of Somerset, Hunterdon, & Warren Counties.
