Student Clubs 

With close to 50 student clubs and organizations to choose from at RVCC, you're sure to find one that matches your interests and fosters friendships with likeminded peers. Led by students, for students, RVCC’s clubs and organizations span categories including:

• Academic Clubs (Engineering Club, Animation Club, Debate Club, Student Nurses, Association, and more)
• Cultural Clubs (Black Students Alliance, Orgullo Latino/Latin Pride Club, Muslim Students Association, and more)
• Special Interest Clubs (Rotaract Club, Feminist Coalition, Veterans Alliance, and more)

Social Events

RVCC student clubs and organizations regularly sponsor a variety of events for fun and to support charitable causes. There are dances, comedy nights, contests, athletic events, walks, bake sales, and more to enjoy and support.

Student Government

Get involved with student government and grow as a leader while networking with peers. All students are welcome to join RVCC’s student government and work together on fundraising initiatives, leadership seminars, funds allocation, and more.

Service Learning & Volunteering 

RVCC’s Service Learning program allows students to earn credits while serving their communities through partnerships with local organizations. Volunteering together with other service-minded individuals is a great way to connect over shared passions and interests while making a difference.

Arts Events

RVCC students with an interest in the arts will find plenty of opportunities to experience campus performances and exhibits with fellow arts enthusiasts. From concerts to theatrical performances to art shows and beyond, there is always something to see for a nominal fee.

Athletics

RVCC’s Athletic Department sponsors intramural programs in sports, giving students the opportunity to socialize while keeping fit through exercise. You can also find workout buddies at RVCC’s  Fitness Center.

Honor Societies

RVCC has several chapters of national honor societies to foster your love of learning and help you connect with other academically-driven individuals. These include Phi Theta Kappa, The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS), and more.

Study Groups

The Evelyn S. Field Library offers group study rooms for students who are interested in holding study groups with their peers. Socialize with classmates while improving your grades and helping each other grow as students.
