Annual Music Faculty Recital to be Presented

Raritan Valley Community College’s Arts & Design department will present the annual Music Faculty Recital, Sunday, February 23, at 3 p.m., in the Welpe Theatre at the College’s Branchburg campus. The program will be coordinated by John Sichel, Associate Professor of Music.

Featured music faculty will include Steve Hudson, piano (New York City); John Loehrke, bass (New York City); John Sichel, piano (Mountainside); Michael Eckhart, guitar (Hillsborough); and Eldad Tarmu, vibraphone (Union City). Also appearing are guests Renato Thoms, percussion (Brooklyn, NY), and Stacey O'Connell, flute (Ewing).

The program will include solo, accompanied and ensemble pieces, spanning a wonderful variety of musical styles, traditions and repertory. Original compositions and arrangements also will be featured.
