At a time when so many Raritan Valley Community College students have experienced personal and financial hardships due to the pandemic, the RVCC Board of Trustees has decided not to raise tuition for Somerset and Hunterdon County students for the Fall 2021 Semester. Tuition will remain at $168 per credit for in-county students.

“With so much uncertainty due to the pandemic, and many of our students experiencing severe economic losses, we did not want to give them any added financial burdens that could impact continuing their studies,” said RVCC President Michael J. McDonough. “RVCC’s high quality, innovative education transforms the lives of our students, offering them a pathway to transfer to a four-year school or gain the necessary skills to succeed and thrive in the workforce of today and the future. We want to make sure our students can continue to move forward in reaching their educational goals.”

The College’s FY 2022 budget will be voted on at the April Board of Trustees meeting, which is scheduled for April 20.
