The Children’s Campus at Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg organized a host of special activities in honor of Campus Children’s Centers Week, October 7-11. During the annual event, sponsored by the National Coalition of Campus Children’s Centers, the Children’s Campus joined with childcare centers at colleges and universities across the country to highlight their centers and share how valuable they are to faculty, staff and students—as well as the general community.

Some of the week’s programs included a question-of-the day activity that invited parents to join and share why their children enjoy coming to the Children’s Campus every day; graph projects highlighting how many families are RVCC staff, faculty, students or community members; as well as special snacks in honor of the week.

Sponsored by RVCC, the Children’s Campus offers childcare for children ages three months to five years. A limited number of spaces are currently available for young children ages 2-4 at the Children’s Campus. The center is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m., 12 months a year. It is licensed by the State of New Jersey and complies with all state licensing regulations.

The program is directed by Cathy B Griffin, MS Ed, who has more than 40 years of experience in early childhood education. For additional information, call 908-231-8807 or visit www.raritanval.edu/childcare.
