Film Screening, Panel Discussion on Opiate Addiction Slated at RVCC

Raritan Valley Community College will present a film screening of the documentary, Chasing the Dragon: The Life of an Opiate Addict, Wednesday, April 5, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. The program, which is free of charge and open to the public, will be held in the Conference Center (Room B) at the College’s Branchburg campus.

Following the screening of the approximately 50-minute film, a panel composed of RVCC students will discuss personal experiences with drug abuse, recovery, and the loss of family and friends.

The event also will include information about RVCC’s Certificate of Completion in Chemical Dependency program, which prepares students to become substance abuse treatment professionals.
