RVCC student Manuela Bulgaro, President of the Criminal Justice Club, writes about a recent event at RVCC, “Why Local Elections Matter.” The program was designed to get college students excited to vote and to emphasize the importance of participating not only in national elections, but also in state and local elections that directly impact and shape their communities.
