Foundation Selling Raffle Tickets to Assist Scholarship Fund

The Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) Foundation is selling raffle tickets to raise funds for scholarships for students attending Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg. This year, in celebration of the College’s 50th Anniversary, the RVCC Foundation is offering 10 exceptional prizes.

The person holding the first-prize winning raffle ticket may choose from three different trips: 1) Barcelona, Spain; 2) Bordeaux, France; and 3) Edinburgh, Scotland. Each travel package is for two people to enjoy and includes airfare. Details on each trip can be found at www.raritanval.edu/tripraffle.

Second prize, a “BROADWAY BOUND” package, includes four orchestra tickets to the hit Broadway musical Hamilton at New York City’s Richard Rogers Theatre (date to be determined), with a pre-show dinner for four at Sardi’s. Other prizes include gifts certificates to play 18 holes at some of New Jersey’s finest golf course; a Chef’s Dinner for six at Verve Bistro in Somerville and two, one-night stays at the Bridgewater Marriott; a diamond necklace from Roman Jewelers; and more.

Tickets cost $100 each, and only 500 tickets will be sold. The drawing will be held at RVCC’s 50th Anniversary Golden Harvest Gala on Thursday, October 25, at The Palace at Somerset Park, Somerset. Raffle ticket winners do not have to be present at the 8:35 p.m. drawing.
