In commemoration of Genocide Awareness Month, the Raritan Valley Community College Institute of Holocaust and Genocide Studies is partnering with World Without Genocide to offer an educational series in April. “Genocide on Our Watch,” a series of virtual presentations, will be held Fridays, April 1, 8, 15, 29, from 10-11 a.m., via Zoom.

The timely and informative online series will kick off April 1 with a program focusing on today’s concerns in Ukraine. Subsequent programs will focus on China (April 8), Ethiopia (April 15), and Burma/Myanmar (April 29). Students and community members will learn about the geography and events that led to current situations around the world.

The series is being facilitated by Dr. Ellen Kennedy, Executive Director of World Without Genocide.

The programs are all free of charge and registration is required. To register, visit https://bit.ly/3MkCslT. For additional information, visit https://www.raritanval.edu/community-resources/holocaust-institute
