Information Sessions, Campus Tours Slated in January

Learn about all Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) has to offer by attending an Information Session in January at the College’s Branchburg campus. General Information Sessions and campus tours are scheduled for Fridays, January 5, 12 and 26, all from 10-11 a.m., in the Conference Center, Room 102. An Information Session is also scheduled for Wednesday, January 17, from 4-6 p.m., in the Atrium (College Center, lower level).

During the sessions, RVCC Admissions specialists will provide information about:

• Enrolling in classes for the Spring Semester

• Programs designed to help students transfer to top colleges and universities in New Jersey, across the country, and even in Europe

• Career training programs, designed in partnership with local industry, that can be completed in a year or less

• The admissions process

• Paying for college, including financial aid opportunities

Special lunch-hour Information Sessions for Adults who are considering returning to college or have never attended college will be held Tuesday, January 2, from 12:15 -12:45 p.m. and from 1:15-1:45 p.m. (Conference Center, Room 101). Additional Information Sessions for Adults will be held Wednesday, January 10, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. (Conference Center, Room 101), and Saturday, January 20, 9-10 a.m. (Atrium, College Center, lower level). Aside from general admissions information, the sessions will focus on transferring college credits, earning credits for life experience, and making a successful transition back to school after being away from the classroom for years.

RVCC is offering a 14-week Spring Semester starting January 22 and a 12-week session beginning February 5.
